The HQ building represents the center of your industrial empire. It handles your Tech Tree as well as your loans. When placed, the HQ building awards that Region's Full Build Permit. Though it cannot be moved from once placed, It can be modified to better reflect your play-style after you researched deep enough into a Tech Tree.
Placing a HQ Building
- Place a HQ Building by choosing it in the Construction Menu at the HQ Tab.
- Once built the HQ Building’s panel should automatically open. If not, Click on the HQ Building to open its panel.
HQ Building Growth[]
As the Player progresses through the game, the HQ building will change models, based on the amount of Tech Tree Unlocks within a specific category they have unlocked.
When a Player has researched 10 Unlocks within a category, the Base model of the HQ will change to a Tier 1 model that represents that category:
- Rural Model - Rural - Drinks, Food, Livestock.
- Light Industry Model - Light Industry - Carpentry, Liquor, Papermill, Textile.
- Heavy Industry Model - Heavy Industry - Glass & Metallurgy, Home Goods, Petrochemicals.
Once the Player has reached this 10 Unlock milestone, the HQ building will only change again once all of the Unlocks within the same category are unlocked.
Example:
- Player has researched 10 Unlocks within the Rural category.
- The HQ model changes from the Base HQ to the Tier 1 Rural HQ.
- The Player finishes researching the last Rural Unlock
- The HQ model changes from the Tier 1 Rural HQ to the Tier 2 Rural HQ
